Privacy
Short version: no ads, no third-party trackers, no cookies for anonymous visitors, no account. Here's the long version.
What happens when you download
To know which tools are worth maintaining, each download records one row containing:
- which tool and version was downloaded, and when;
- a rough country (from your IP, via an offline lookup) — the IP itself is never stored;
- your operating system and browser family, read from the standard User-Agent string;
- the referring site's host name, if any;
- a one-way hash of your IP combined with a daily secret — used only to estimate unique downloads for that day, and impossible to reverse back into an IP.
What we don't do
- No advertising or third-party analytics scripts run on this site.
- No tracking cookies are set for anonymous browsing.
- No personal data — name, email, raw IP — is stored or shared.
Admin
The site owner signs in to publish tools; that area uses a session cookie for the logged-in admin only. It has nothing to do with visitors.
